Cuisinart GR-11 Griddler and Panini Press

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 'Large' long 1/4 lb hot dogs don't fit--longer than grill. Can't turn sideways-they pop out. Suggestions?

We bought this grill 2 weeks ago. During our move to a new location, we tossed out our gas grill. This is our "grill" until we get a new gas grill. After some fussing and stretching of the spring cable guard on the back, we were able to get the plates to fold flat. We learned that after we tried grilling the first time. This may be a quality issue? It didn't work correctly right out of the box. Everything else worked fine, and do like the removable plates. Whomever manufactures this or distributes this should take a random one and put it to use. Best way to learn what obstacles consumers run into. Very good product, but could use some "consumer insight" and improvement.

I’ve owned other panini presses but this one out performs others. The ease of cleaning is a plus!

Never received item. I was given a refund and was told another one could not be shipped. In the mean time the price doubled so I will not be ordering a new one.

Never received it! ! It was sent back to macys after Three weeks moving back and forth between postal services. Will never order inline again, this is third time we have issues with macys online shipments

I bought the GR-11 5 days ago, and it heats up but does not toast. The top plate heats much less than the bottom plate. I had a grilled cheese in the grill for 20 minutes and it just warmed it but did not toast, Will be returning it.

Life is too short to settle for something that will make you regret buying it over the years. That's why I re evaluated what I really wanted in a sandwich press. I found the Cuisinart Griddler to have everything I looked for in a sandwich press. When I received it, I was so excited to cook my first sandwich on it. Came out perfect the first time!! So I got a little daring and tried a steak in it. Came out perfect!! I could not ask for any product better than this one. I looked around my kitchen and realized I have a lot of Cuisinart products. What a coincidence, I don't think so. Great products are always great products!

We had an older model for years, this new design helps a lot.
