This is a fantastic product. I have one and I purchased this one for my sister along with the Ben& Jerry's recipe book. This ice cream maker is easy to use and produces delicious ice cream, sorbets and other Frozen treats quickly. Cleanup is super easy and the consistency of the ice cream is perfect for soft serve immediately when it is done and then the leftovers freeze well!

We love this ice cream maker. It’s so easy to use and taste better than any store-bought. We used it consistently over the summer, and just keep the bowl in the freezer so it’s nice and frozen when we are ready to use. it’s so nice to be able to control the ingredients without the added extra. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The perfect machine for remarkable homemade ice cream. Used this machine to make my entry into a small neighborhood ice cream competition. I was new to ice cream, never made it before. This compact appliance helped me secure 2nd place! Afterwards made a chocolate brownie and chocolate chip ice cream that turned out even better.
Unit works fine and creates a great final product. My only issue is the noise the motor makes when churning ice cream. It is so loud that conversation is limited in the immediate area.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only used the ice cream maker one time so far. It performed as advertised. I used the basic ice cream formula as a test. It was mentioned that if I wanted a firmer texture I should place it in a freezer. The machine did such a good job of aerating the mixture as it froze the texture was the same even after putting it in our freezer. It served up nicer than store bought and tasted much better. Best of all, chemical fillers I don't want in my food.
Since buying the Cuisinart Ice Cream machine, I've used it several times making homemade ice cream. I love it. It makes perfectly great ice cream and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. Lol If you're looking for some great ice cream, feel free to buy Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker.
I made gelato for the first time and this little machine did a wonderful job. The bowl has to be frozen, so plan on putting it in the freezer 48hrs ahead. Follow your recipe, cool your gelato in the fridge before you put it in the maker, then pour it in the frozen bowl & turn on the churn. Yum!
