I like this steel. It is 10-inches long. A good length for home use. It is made in Germany with premium steel that will last for years of use - even if you use it everyday. It is handsome. The stainless steel end cap is a nice touch. Adds a little weight for stability. And the handle is made for a wide variety of hands to grip. Well done! And the price is right, too.

Making this magnetic is such a great idea because the small particles will cling to the rod and you can easily wipe it off for clean up after each use.
