I was looking for white placemats, and unfortunately these are not white, they are off-white and just look dull. Also not that thick. They are fine for the sale price, but not what I was looking for. Great that they are all cotton, but I had to return.
Placemats are functional and made of cotton. Not bright white, but they can be washed with bleach to remove stains after use, unlike various colors and patterns. Not elegant, but great for everyday use. I can always have washed, clean placemats on the table.
