We just assembled the lamp. It was very easy to do. We are pleased with our purchase. The lamp seems sturdy and looks great! We did replace the bulbs that came with the lamp. We preferred Edison bulbs and a lower wattage (since the lamp is not dimmable).

When I received the Safavieh Floor Lamp, I was a bit disappointed. I did not like the globes nor having to keep reaching on the long cord for the on/off switch. Fate came into play and in a few days while turning on the switch the lamp turned over, breaking the globes. We went shopping and found two art glass globes trimmed in black and assorted glass colors, beautiful!! My husband, who is very handy, decided to relocate the switch which is now attached to the center pole and very convenient. Too bad Safavieh didn't think more about customer convenience and beauty!!
