\Purchased for my daughter's new apartment. We purchased the 60 piece - 12 service set, but it did not include bowls so this was purchased as a supplement to really "complete" the set. Very pretty and right sized. Elegant, yet simple enough for everyday use, but can really dress up a formal dinner at the same time. Tested in microwave at 50% power as suggested with no problems.
