It's warm if you just wear it on its own or with a sweater, but if you sweat at all, the polyester is too tight and it doesn't breathe at all, so it's bad when you're exercising in winter, because the sweat makes you cold. It's disappointing that this is 50% synthetic, since that really diminishes the temperature control and breathability, which are exactly the features you want in a thermal.
It is hard to find good quality undergarments for my husband. Thank goodness I found these on sale, and he absolutely loves them. Soft and warm, not to mention good fit!
Comfortable all day. I use it under a corduroy shirt it cool and cold weather.
