Manhattan Portage Pet Carrier Tote Bag

This bag is sturdy and spacious enough for a slightly bigger dog than most of the puppy carriers, and the straps seem to distribute weight well. Unfortunately, the head hole is so big that if you don’t want to zip down the netting (to let your dog keep his head out), there’s not much to stop him from falling right out the front. The bag would be perfect if it had another net or strap for across the dog’s chest, or at least some rings/loops to clip on your own strap… I think I’ll have to add my own, which is not ideal. The clip shown across the front is attached to the netting (rather than to the front do the bag), so you can only engage it when the netting is fully zipped down (what’s the point?).

Love this bag! It’s perfect! I was looking for something to carry around my pup when running errands and I remembered the messenger bags from Manhattan Portage all around NYC and knew their quality and lifetime warranty would be perfect. I didn’t realize they made a pet carrier bag when I originally looked for one. I was so happy to see they made them! The bag is very well made, great stiff quality and the canvas material is very easy to clean and pup friendly.
