I am using the Minimus TR v2 for jump rope workouts. Once the weather get cold, I will resume kettlebell workouts. I expect it to excel with this type of workout as well.
Designed for explosiveness in the gym, these training shoes are made to feel like barefoot, but better.

Extremely comfortable great grip perfect fit definitely recommend
I use these for cycling a road bike with flat pedals and traction pins or screws. They have a hard sole which holds up well on the pins, but they are also lightweight because of the mesh body. They are also one of only a few shoes like this with a wide width option. All in all they are perfect for my use case, even though I’m not sure that’s what they were designed for.
Awesome and perfect comfort for training. Great stability for compound lifts plus enough comfort for cross training.
Great cross trainer for my 3x week workout, Great fit for my wide feet
Great Fit. Very comfortable. Excellent full foot contact for training.
Super happy to see this model for sale again, I thought it was dead. It'd be nice if they came in more colors, red, blue, yellow, green, etc.!
Great for Walking. It feels like one of those over-priced “bare foot” shoes. Buy it.!!
The minimus is a great shoe that has helped make my feet stronger, my balance better.
New Balance Minimus shoes have been my go-to for gym wear (indoor court racquet sports, elliptical cardio, HIIT, and strength training) for many years. I still possess a pair of M Prevails that have survived countless cleanings! But I needed a new HIIT and cardio shoe and decided to try these. So far, they're terrific. I went with the Wide (2E), and a little longer (size 10-½ ) than my measured foot size, and this seems to be the sweet spot. Soles are grippy, which I like. Lacing system on the upper has good variability for varied conditions (lifting, elliptical, footwork). The footbed is hard and flat, so use your own insoles as needed.
