There wasn't enough support or cushion for my arches. It made my feet hurt due to this. I also didn't realize you cannot return this item, I have never ran into this issue with New Balance. So I'm stuck with shoes I can't wear.
These were not as comfortable as the online reviews were saying. They also rubbed the back of my heel pretty aggressively. I returned these shoes after 2 days. Great look, just not comfortable.
My first pair of 740’s. They are a good shoe for the money.
Loved the design of these sneakers and was so excited when they arrived but the toe box was far too narrow, and so was the mid-foot, honestly. I’m not really looking to full commit to the barefoot shoe thing and had heard New Balance offers a slightly roomier fit but that just wasn’t the case. This is supposedly the unisex shoe width (D) so I was a little surprised. Would love to see New Balance offer some wider toe boxes because they’ve got the visual appeal down and the quality seemed nice.
