I'm a couch to 5K person so not a seasoned runner. This means I don't have a lot of prior shoes to compare these to, but also means my body mechanics are not practiced and therefore I'm highly sensitive to whether the shoe I'm wearing is supporting my inexperienced gait pattern. For me, these are perfect: so light you barely notice you're wearing them. The laces are textured and never come undone while running. My feet are fully cushioned and never sore after a run. The shoe also doesn't cause any chafing at the achilles area. Will definitely buy these again.
