I purchased these because I needed something comfortable to walk a distance in, but be somewhat dressy. The straps were too big and didn't rest on my foot. Also they have no arch support. They would have worked though, they are soft and comfy, but I found something else with a better fit.
I really like the style of this sandal. The sole is true to width, but the straps are a bit big for me. They don't really touch my foot especially the front ones. When I walk they do hold my feet in place well enough. They don't have arch support, which I generally need. But they are very comfortable, and look great, so I'm keeping them. I need to be able to walk a distance to a dinner, and these will be perfect.
