Very, very comfortable shoes. Wore them through the airport and received many compliments. The only complaint I have is the velcro. I love velcro instead of buckles. Easier to put on and off. I have several pairs of this brand and the velcro is usually not a problem. The velcro doesn't want to stay connected and it's annoying as you have to keep stopping to fix it. Occasionally, it connects if you sit there and conscientiously play with it.
This is a different kind of review. I absolutely love this little artful sandal! They truly look and feel like I am wearing a beautiful piece of art when I have them on my feet! However, they are poorly constructed. I purchased these sandals from a department store a few months ago. I wore them twice and the glued on velcro closure on the ankle strap pulled off! Upon inspection I could see the other side was also separating and there was no stitching to reinforce the velcro. I returned them to the store for a refund but I have really missed them so I purchased a second time from Zappos hoping the malfunction was an isolated event. The same poor construction was on the second pair from Zappos and one of the pieces of velcro was pulling away from the leather. Call me crazy but I kept the sandals and took them to a shoe repair shop and had the velcro discretely stitched for $20.00. So, I ended up paying way more than I should have for these cute little shoes! I'm sure I will love wearing them but L'Artiste owes me some money and they need to improve the design.
I am always a size 7US in sandals but these sandals I advise that you size up due to the foot bed is a bit too short
