These shoes felt comfortable right out of the box, although I did have to loosen the laces since I have a wider food. I like the soft suede-like texture more than smooth leather so this style is preferable for me. The zipper is also an added benefit. Ecco walking shoes have worked well for my plantar fasciitis.
These are really nice shoes and felt good from the moment I put them on. Since I have a wider foot, I did have to loosen the laces. They feel a lot more comfortable than several other shoes I’ve purchased in the past several months. The navy blue is a nice color and I prefer the suede-like texture to the smoother leather for a more subtle appearance.
I am size 8 medium. Ecco Soft 7 fits me in length but uncomfortable in the toe box -- too narrow. I like that they are leather and well constructed.
I loved the look of this shoe!! exactly what I was looking for. However, it was stiff and uncomfortable, rubbing on my foot on one side if the heel and the side. Too bad because I wanted to love them,
These shoes are cute and look sturdy, but they were really tight all over. Even though my normal size is 9, I couldn't even get the zipper on the side to go all the way up. I returned them.

I've been looking to replace my nearly worn out, beloved Ecco sneakers for a while now, but didn't like the colors on offer for the past few seasons. So soon as I saw the rich Raisin color, I snapped it up. I find Ecco sizing a little hard to pin down: I'm usually a 41, but in this style I had to exchange for a 42, which is a perfect fit. I have narrowish-medium feet, so I'm not sure this shoe would be comfortable for someone with wide feet.
Haven't worn them yet, looking forward to a comfortable wearing.
