The 7 year old and mom really loved these shoes! They are a great fit and customizable with the velcro closure. The style is spot on and he says they are great, wouldn't take them off for the rest of the day. Super happy that Hoka has finally come out with a youth shoe.

The shoe itself held up pretty well for being a kids shoe. However, the velcro did not. Pretty quickly the velcro stopped working because the felt/soft side became too fuzzy to attach. The shoes themselves could have kept being worn but not having working velcro to keep the shoe on became irritating. We had to replace them after a few months even though they still fit, which is ridiculous for $80. I know kids shoes are replaced more often but I was hoping to get him through most of the school year since I was supposedly buying a quality shoe.
Very comfortable, flat bottom shoe, Rincon4: I like this HOKA shoe a lot. It's very confusing that the shoe (color) posted company wants rated is NOT the one I bought. For people that buy HOKA a lot this is confusing.
