I sized up 1/2 a size as was recommended. However, they are a little big in the 1/2 size up, so I wish I had ordered both sizes to compare. I have to wear thicker socks. I did order another style of Bogs to compare, and they fit different enough, so that I was confused as to what size to get. I wonder if that's true for all the Bogs? This style is very warm, definitely a cooler/cold weather boot. They are great for winter. The traction on the bottom isn't great though, and that was a surprise. I wear traction cleats, or snow shoes, when it's slippery out, so it's not a deal breaker for me, but if you're looking for fantastic traction, this isn't the style for you.
