As the other reviewer mentioned, I ordered these boots in the leather version but I was sent the suede one instead. In addition to the mix-up and obviously terrible customer service, I don't like the boots as the toe is quite square looking,
The boots are great. The top portion is stretchy and fits snug against the calf, which is what I wanted. Great for wearing under jeans. The shoe box feels good and the heel is the perfect “casual everyday” height for me. Unfortunately, I’ve ordered the leather twice now and both times Zappos sent me suede! This is despite the fact that I reached out via email to inform them of the issue and request that they be more careful (I also designated “wrong item was sent” during the return process). I’ve decided to order directly from the manufacturer so I can actually receive the leather boot I’m attempting to purchase. So, FYI, if you’re attempting to buy the leather and not the suede at Zappos, you’re likely to be unsuccessful. Now I have to schlep two huge boxes to UPS to return.
Fits snuggly. They work great for petites.
Twice in a row I have ordered the leather, not suede, version of these boots and twice Zappos's contacts at Amazon have sent me the suede version. The partnership between these companies is not working well for me.
