These are beautiful boots; however, the 8 1/2 M that I normally wear was much too tight across the top of my foot. I'm not sure that even a break-in period would have helped. BUT....they are truly very pretty boots. Just order a 1/2 size up or a larger width!

Love the color and the fit. Purchased both the 8 and 8.5 and am keeping the 8.5 Really nice looking boots.

These boots are incredibly comfortable for being a low-heeled riding boot - they have a level of cushioning that I didn't expect, which makes it possible to wear them for much longer walking than I'd anticipated. The sole is "grippier" than I'd expected, as well, which makes me feel much more secure wearing these boots for dress-up occasions on New England winter pavement!
