While the adjustable hook-and-loop straps over the forefoot and instep secure the foot whilst having an open back for quick entry and exit. Just slide into the Embark Slide and go. Genuine leather and breathable textile upper. Breathable fabric lining and dual density contour molded insole. Slip-on style. Open, almond toe silhouette. EVA midsole gives flexibility, cushioning and lightweight performance, while the rubber outsole pattern gives durability for the outdoors. Made in the USA. These are exactly what I wanted in appearance! They look comfortable. If only they'd stay on. There is no room left to tighten them further. I ordered them in Medium which is always my best fit. If they came in narrow I'd try it.

Comfortable enough in that that there’s a lot of cushioning, but overall kind of heavy and clunky.
