The left shoe was defective. it was not centered correctly on the sole making the shoe both uncomfortable and visually weird looking.

shoe size and fit are good. comfortable. not much sole padding.

Love ECCOs and these are no exception. They fit a little big but not bad. Don't expect to get any blisters or have any breaking in period.
