Perfect for layering and packing for a cruise: I bought this vest so that I can layer it over long sleeve shirts on a cruise in November. It is lightweight and will pack well without taking up too much space. I will provably wear it on the airplane too! The off white fabric is textured and is very pretty. Fits true to size

lightweight and warm: this vest is lightweight, very easy to pack for travel and gives a nice layer of warmth, presently in Paamiut in Greenland at about 43 degrees, the vest over a lightweight shirt and sweater on top is perfect

Perfect Layer: This vest is a great addition to my seasonal transition wardrobe when I need a little extra warmth without the weight. Very packable, too! I bought the navy, and like all LLBean pieces I buy, I will purchase additional colors.
