I really wanted to like these shoes but after the first time I wore them hiking I had blisters in my ankles that were so deep, I couldn't wear shoes for 2 weeks. Now having tried them several times I can honestly say, I REALLY don't like how the back of these shoes feels. Can't wait to return to Zappos
This shoes aren't meant for people with feet. It's like whomever made them never researched ankles. It feels narrower than a "wide" foot but the worst thing is that there's something in the back where the fabric meets the rigid material. It gave me the worst blister above my rear ankle (worse than army boots in basic training). The only reason I didn't return it was that I already used them for the first day of hunting season last year. A year of putting shoe expanders to try and pull out some of the ankle it helped a little but still rubbing the ankle. I would highly recommend AGAINST these shoes
I recently purchased a pair of your boots for a hunting trip and wanted to share my feedback. I found the fit to be slightly wider than expected, though this extra width proved helpful when wearing thicker hunting socks. I felt a hot spot during the break-in period, the boots became comfortable after a couple of wears. Overall, the fit is great, and I really enjoy the camo design and the feel of the boots now that they are broken in.
