WARM AND COMFY: If you need warmth, support and comfort, this is the slipper/boot for you. I have "problem feet," yet I can wear them all day long if I am at home! I find them a bit hard to get on, but using a shoe horn is an easy solution. I am thrilled with this purchase!
Too short in length and hard to slip on because the opening was small even though I ordered my usual size. Nice looking and well made but no arch support.
Rugged House Boots (or slippers) These 'house boots' are really nice, they can worn indoors or outdoors pretty much anywhere. They feel much more like shoes (or boots) than slippers, the opening is snug (as noted by many other reviews) but still navigable and they do loosen somewhat after a few uses. The toe box is good, roomy enough to avoid conscripting the mid foot or toes. I haven't had an opportunity to determine how waterproof they but did wear them grocery shopping and during my daily walks around town.
Durable: Good fit I was surprised . Easy for if I need to step outside
I keep trying to wear these out of the house. These slippers are wonderful! I climb in bed an hour before bed to read-hubbie nixes the screens. I just keep them on because I know I will need to have them on to finish my before bed duties. There is no point in taking them off as they are so comfortable. I never feel as if I have a shoe on. I bought the red ones and they match the LL Bean robe I bought. There is nothing like them. If I need to run a quick errand like putting mail in the mailbox I wear these instead of changing into an outside shoe. I just wish LLB offered them in more colors. I have the blue robe that matches the red robe and I would like a navy slipper.
Decent shoes: Pretty and fit correctly, just a little more rugged an heavier than expected.
These quilted slippers are keepers: Very comfortable and keep my feet warm. I am enjoying them a lot.
Sleeping bags for the feet: These are great as indoor slippers and also outdoor shoes. At first, I thought the foot bed seemed too firm, but after wearing them for several months, I find it. It is supportive, but not squishy, very comfortable, Just the right amount of our support. These are the shoes that my feet look forward to being in! They are also very cute. Like sleeping bags for my feet.
My wife's favorite new LL bean quilted ankle boots: We saw an ad for these and my wife really liked them and she wanted something for a slipper and ankle high boot she could also wear outside if needed. We took a ride to the Freeport store and she tried them on and really liked them, so we bought them for her. Now she has had them for a while, she loves them and wears them a lot, they're comfy and warm. Thanks LL Bean for another quality product.
