Absolutely won't recommend. With socks, the Wide fit is one size smaller. Absolute nightmare if you're on your feet for 2 hours or longer. The slip-in is very tight on insert. Driving with this is a nightmare. A pair of size 10.5 weighs 4 lbs. Stains easily with just water. Tripped a few times going down the stairs. Huge safety issue these safety shoes.

The shoes feel too tight. I need 8.5 wide. Maybe I should get a 9 instead.

Much easier and more comfortable than I expected: I'm a Teacher at a trade school and on my feet all day . This pair of shoes are very comfortable, fit well around my narrow feet.
