They are a great, balanced shoe. As someone with a neutral gate with high arches, I have ran in these for about 5+ years now and never had issues. Typically will last me about 350-400 miles. Love them

Brooks have been my go-to street running shoe for over ten years now. First got them when my friend, a running coach who ran across the US a trained me for my first ultramarathon, recommended Brooks. I’ll get a new pair every 500 miles.

These felt comfortable right out of the box, no real break in was needed. Good support and the padding was not over done, meaning it was there but didn't feel like I was walking on a pillow.

My feet tend to be a tad bit wider than the average D. So, the only gripe I would have would be the feel of the width; no or no-show socks would be the only alternative. However, if you will use these for genuine activity, that is fine. The rest of the sizing is true, the arch support is incredible, and the construction is durable. I have not fully broken these in yet, but can imagine a long life of use.

So much better than generic running shoes: Night and day compared to running in non-dedicated running shoes. Springy, comfortable, fit just right on my feet for long distance running.
