They are made of a polyester insole and lining. The woven mesh upper helps keep your feet dry. Their asymmetric tongue wing provides a comfortable and secure feel around the midfoot while reducing tongue movement. Lastly, the trail-specific outsole design of these low-top, lace-up shoes helps create better traction, improved softness, and advanced durability for mixed terrain. Pull tab at the front. 19 years of good design. I've been wearing the GT-2000 for 19 years. Starting in 2007 running and don't run distance anymore, but the are still the best running/walking shoe I've found. Pair them with some superfeet.

Perfect Road-to-Trail Running Shoe: Amazing fit especially from the vantage point of a flat-footed athlete. I wish the TR series came in a wide but for those of us with a 4.12 inch mid-foot or less a wide is not absolutely necessary. The toe box has ample room and so does the heel.
