Speedgoat 7

The shoes are really stiff, the materiel feels like plastic, and there is no breathability. I miss the old Hoka's when the quality held up to the price.

Disappointed. The HOKA speed goat 5’s were amazing. The speed goat 6 was disappointing and the speed goat 7’s I’m returning. HOKA have always been true to size for me. I purchased these in my usual size and it felt too small. Tried a half size larger and they just didn’t feel right. I wish I could find another pair of speed goat 5. They were perfect. I switched to Mount To Coast T1 for all my trail running/hiking and LOVE them.

I’ve run in speedgoats for years. I like this version better than the one before. I run with custom orthotics. I don’t think insoles that come with them are super supportive. But once I put my own orthotics in, they are golden.

After trying several other Hokas and seeing the tongue design up close, I was not expecting to like these at all, but was totally surprised how great these are! The tongue is this weird winged floppy thin soft thing, but is actually really comfortable and I don't miss the extra padding that most shoes have at the top where you tie the shoe. I have slightly wider toes and a narrower heel, and this shoe actually cups my heel so it doesn't slide around and it's wide enough for toe wiggle room, but not so wide that I feel like my foot is sliding around. Plus, the Vibram lugs on it look very sturdy while being a super lightweight shoe. Haven't run in them yet, but I'm impressed so far!

I followed the advice of the other reviewers who said to order a half size up, and it was too big. I recommend ordering your normal size. I'm normally a 10 in Hoka and every running shoe, and that is the size I should have ordered. However, I was not impressed by the arch support in this shoe.

Beyond disappointed……I was completely in love with these shoes but now have to return them. In less than a week the shoes already have a crack/split in the side of the shoe and one of the decals on the top of the shoe is peeling. I’m hoping it is just a defect in the pair I received. I was literally getting ready to order another pair in a different color. Now I have go through the hassle to return them

The toe on these shoes is very uncomfortable, the shoe is far to stiff. Unfortunately I wore them a few time trying to break them in and now they can't be returned...very disappointing for a Hoka wearer.

This my first time purchasing the speedgoat style. I love the vintage yellow color! They are true to size and very comfortable.

Wanted to replace beloved, much worn Mach 6 in a zingy orange/yellow/red (Poppy/Squash) & found these. I needed comfortable shoes for travel in Europe on cobblestone streets, long days exploring & on my feet but wanted my shoes to be FUN too! I like COLOR & even though these are pretty subdued, they are not so hum-drum. Too bad Hoka isn’t apparently making truly zingy colors this season—I always used to get compliments & the wild colors went with everything. These Speedgoats seem very comfortable out of the box, offering lots of cushion, anti-roll soles & have an interesting color combination. Hoping they will be a great replacement for my retired Mach 6’s.
