I never thought I'd buy any shoes from Hoka because I do not like high stack soft squishy shoes. But I tried these on at a local store and they were not that so I ordered from here to get my size. They are firm(not hard) and the stack and drop is lower. They are pretty similar to New Balance FuelCell SuperComp Pacer that I had last year. They have that rocker bottom which makes them roll when you walk.

I don't like high stack squishy shoes. These aren't that so they are good!
The shoe was too narrow for my feet.
Far too soft for me to feel comfortable wearing this shoe as a walking shoe. Impossible for me to wear as a training runner.
