Margreta Clogs

I have worn Dansko clogs and boots for many years. I've always, always been a size 39 , but this Margreta clog ( closed toe sandal) runs large. Order down a size.

Cute. Comfy. Nice balance between the heel height and the platform, they don’t feel like you’re wearing heels. They are a little clip-cloppy when I walk (two noises from the heel hitting the ground and the ball of the foot). Hopefully this will ease as they break in. I love that it’s a real buckle and not velcro! I wore them all day right out of the box and my feet feel good. I rated them as “moderate” arch support, but I have very high arches. I’m pleased.

The style of this shoe is very nice looking and comfortable. I followed the advice of other reviews and ordered a size down. I normally wear a size 40 and the 39 fit perfectly. The biscotti color looks ivory online but is more yellow/beige in person. I was looking for an ivory/ecru color so they were returned.

I've always worn a 38 in Dansko, but was swimming in these. Also was not keen on the way the leather transitioned from smooth and polished on the toes to a more natural leather grain on the rest of the shoe. Too bad. I would like a sandal to wear with dresses that provides some toe protection when I'm walking on cobblestone streets.

Love the shoes - found them roomier than I expected. I have a wide foot, and these are 'normal' width, but have ample room for my feet. I am an in-between size and ordered the 8.5/9, even though I am regularly an 8.5. The sole of the shoe fits perfectly, and if I make the ankle strap snug, the shoes fit great. Otherwise, they slide a bit but not so much they are not comfortable, just more a preference point at that stage.

I have high arches, chronic lower back pain (that I manage with regular yoga). Dansko's are the ONLY shoes I can wear to work, where I stand for 8 hours. They're the BEST!!! However I returned these because they didn't look good against my skin tone.

I have a very similar pair that I love - Dansko Brie in Brown Oiled Pull Up - these black Dansko Margreta fit exactly the same, so I love these too. They fit like a clog but are dressier. I appreciate the wide toe box and the arch support. I usually wear a 6.5 or 7 in most shoes, but the EU size 36 in these fits perfectly.

Comfortable and fit true to size. I have a more narrow foot so they were a touch wide for me in the toe box but that wouldn’t stop me. Just didn’t love the color way.

Fit was true to size but didn’t love the color in person. Comfort is moderate which seems standard for this style shoe.

Comfortably fits my feet. Perfect closed toe shoe for summer.
