I have 2 Columbia hiking boots (not shoes) & rarely wear them, both 8W, they fit well. Decided to try a hiking shoe instead. So I saw these, liked the looks and got 8W. They are huge! I think it's because of the rounded toe, which is what attracted me to this particular pair. I have bunions and osteoarthritis in my feet and thought the rounded toe with no stitching would be great. Nope! There also is no arch support; I tried wearing a heavier sock but that defeats the purpose and didn't help the sizing. Guess I will stick with what I have for now, will be returning this pair

These shoes were fine. Kind of ugly. Roomy toe box. Returned because they were a little too wide for me and when standing still, I felt like there wasn't much stability. I prefer my shoes to hug my feet a little more.

Love these: These were comfortable right out of the gate! I put them on and just walked in comfort immediately....no breaking in whatsoever! My orthodics fit in them just fine too.
