The collar of the shoe comes up so high that it rubbed on the knobs of my inner ankles (medial malleolus). After a couple days of wear, the skin of my ankle bones became sore and red making the shoe uncomfortable to wear. The collar does not seem like a part of the shoe that would break in. Unfortunately, I will have to return them. I liked the look and feel of the shoe other than that one issue.

A great waterproof hiking shoe. I returned it because it was just a bit too green for me.
I want to like these so bad, but they are insanely uncomfortable. I’m hoping that it’s just a ‘break-in’ period, but they hurt parts of my feet that have never been affected by shoes before. I ordered a half size up due to recommended fit and it feels right, so I don’t know, maybe just an ill-fitting shoe?
Different purchase for me-so happy! I took a chance and ordered these out of my comfort zone--Love the style, the fit, everything! So please with this purchase.
