Attractive looking shoe but the sides from the arch back to heel are simply fabric that has no structure. The wide width up front was great but the back of the shoe is too wide and lacking any strength on the sides so it gaps unless you have a wide back foot.
These look good. They ran 1/2 size too large. I got 10m then 9.5 m. Unfortunately they ate my socks between the car and my office. By the time I got to the office my socks were at my arches :-(. It’s probably the result of the unstructured heel. The uppers were all unstructured. My socks were just sliding down my foot and nothing I did kept them where they belonged.
Still searching for a shoe to replace my favorite: Vionic Agile Kea slip on. This Vionic Uptown Willa Loafer had a good feel in the arch, but too many other areas where it just didn't work. The suede material around the back of the foot and heel is soft and loose, providing no support to the back or the side of the heel. Ordered my regular size (10 M) but the shoe felt too long, but a bit tight on my little toes. Shoe was tried on with slightly thick socks and the shoe was still loose in the back and almost too tight in the front. Tried with lighter weight sock and my foot kept sliding and almost coming out of the shoe. I have a narrow heel and regular sized front of the foot, this shoe just did not fit properly. The suede material was nice, but had bits of white paper attached to the material. Brushed off, but made me wonder how much lint, dust, etc., would show up on the black suede. I wish Vionic still made the Agile Kia. I had started buying 2 pairs at a time; one for inside and one for outside wear. Back to the search.
