Travelactiv Allegra Slide

I have very wide feet, size 8.5, which are flat. I measured them just in front of my ankle bone - one is 9.75" and one is 10" in circumference (so you can compare with your feet when choosing a width). I ordered these in 8.5 and in width XX (4E). Surprisingly, I found these sandals to be too wide for me both at the front elastic strap and the adjustable instep strap. I also found them to be too long. Before ordering my usual 8.5 size, I compared the length of my longest foot - 9.625" - to confirm the 8.5 size was right according their size chart, which it was. I will be returning this pair and ordering their replacement in Size 8 D (two widths down from this pair because 43% of reviews say they "Felt wider than marked", which I had not seen before ordering this pair). These shoes have minimal to zero arch support, but I will be wearing them around the house, which is not as critical if I planned to wear them out walking in the world. I gave them 4 stars because the sizing issues are hard to gauge when ordering by mail. As to the adjustable instep strap the velcro strips go across the entirety of both sides of that strap, which is a very nice feature, hence my going down 2 widths.

Long time loyal Propet customer here. These sandals are very comfortable! The strap that covers the front of the foot is stretchy and wide and also fixed into the sole of the shoe. It is not adjustable, however, it provides a comfortable and secure fit. The wide band prevents my toes from being pinched. The strap is secure and prevents my foot from sliding when I walk. The second strap that covers the middle part of the foot is adjustable and also comfortable. The foot bed is contoured and cradles my heel. I wear a size 10 WW (2E) in Propet closed toe shoes, however need an 11 WW (2E) in Propet sandals. I believe this is because the “toe box” area of the sandals are not designed to accommodate width like the Propet closed toe shoes. Just my observation. If you have bunions You may need to order one size up for this sandal. I have the fuschia sandal and will be ordering in another color, too. Hopefully Propet will keep this style for a long time and add more colors.

I was so disappointed that the sole of this slide that I ordered in a 10 Wide was the exact same size as the sole of the 10 medium. I order wides because my toes are wide and hang over the sizes of a medium width. The ONLY difference between the 10 M and the 10 W was the amount of elastic near the toes. The wide velcro strap was the exact same size on both shoes.

Very cute slides. I ordered the 7.5/38 which is my usual size, and they fit perfectly. Very comfortable. I thought at first that the straps might be scratchy on the tops of my feet and briefly considered returning them. Then I tried them again and found that not to be a real problem. So glad I kept them.

Awesome fit and adjustability. Soft and comfortable to walk in. Good support. If your ankles and/feet get swollen... Definitely get these. There are 6 inches of extra room in the instep possible with this strap arrangement (which should be a standard method)

Toe strap hit the side of my bunions and I yelped in pain before taking them off. Cute shoes, just mot for my old lady feet!

The allegra slide can be adjusted to fit narrow feet, but the band over the mid-foot is uncomfortable and scratchy.

These were a little too big. The straps are adjustable and I had to make them as small as possible to fit but I still felt like they were too big so I returned them. They were comfortable right out of the box and felt like they'd need no breaking in. I just wish they'd fit better.

Usual sandal size is 8.5 with barely wide toe bed and high instep, ordered 8.5 W. Toe bed seems regular width, toes at very edge of sides. The instep strap is almost too long! That’s never the situation with me. I have strap as far as it can close but still about 1/2” hanging loose on side of shoe, the strap is thick with Velcro so when doubled over it looks clunky compared to toe strap that has a little stretch. If I ordered a 9W probably too long or a 8.5 WW the instep strap will be way too long so not sure what to do as shoe is comfortable as far as sole is concerned.

Super cute and great quality. My usual size fit perfectly. However the W ran narrower than other brands I wear. I guess that’s why Propet offers a WW.
