Cute, sturdy and seem well made, but not comfortable. I don't know who decided on the height of what would be the tongue on a regular shoe. Every time your foot flexes up while walking, the tongue of the boot pushes uncomfortably on your lower shin. I wish I had returned them instead of hoping they'd break in. These are more for looks than function. Don't bother with them if you need to do any amount of walking. I tried socks with more cushion, but it didn't help. Still get a sore spot. Other than that pretty big issue, sizing is true and insole is fine. Plenty of room in toe box.
