This is a nice sandal and the leather appears to be of good quality. I am a wide width but originally ordered a medium because of the reviews. It was definitely too narrow so I then ordered a wide width. There was a big gap of the leather strap on the left shoe which made it look strange as well as effect the sizing. Unfortunately it is being returned. Thank you Zappos for your consistently good customer service!
There's something wrong with how the straps are designed the sling backstrap somehow makes the heel move inward so the heel pressures on the inside of the heel. It wouldn't be possible to walk for any distance in them comfortably. This design flaw is unfortunate because the cushion is well done the arch supports well done. The leather is nice, but there's something off about the balance in the strapping.
Unfortunately the strap for the heel was too loose and the shoe kept slipping off.
I was so happy to find this shoe in the color, size and width I needed. The cross strap on the right foot feels a little tight but perhaps with wear it will loosen.
