Definite Upgrade: I am so glad this for the makers style is back. This series 3 is definitely an upgrade. The laces are thicker, extra padding inside the heel area, and extra cushion on the sole. These are super sturdy and comfy. I do wish there were metal eyelets for the laces and a zipper for the high-tops, but for now this will do. #sweepstakes

#1 footbed/comfort for sk8 hi: So the footbed is me of a material not found in another vans I've seen or tried... and I own 40+ sk8 his. I wish they had metal eyelets that the only reason I'm doing 4 / 5

Perfect for people on their feet all day. Owned for a few weeks. So far I can tell the quality is better. Thicker shoe, better laces and and great sole. Truely made for people that are on the move constantly. Better made shoe with the favorite van look. Will buy again.

I would buy this again and again for work. It's extremely comfortable. Great for those of that work outdoors (law enforcement/government jobs). I have purchased may Sk8 shoes in the past and each year they get better and better.
