Really wanted to like this shoe, as I need nonslip for work. After about thirty shifts on my feet I have to say they simply are not comfortable and actually caused tendonitis to flare in my foot. They have to be worn loose, as they are super narrow. On first try on the seem fine, even comfortable, but after a few days work their flaws come out. Great looking shoe, only for super narrow feet and those that don’t need much support, otherwise prepare for some discomfort.

I work in a kitchen all day and after about a month there is no insole cushion. I'm 6'2" and 220lbs

Style-wise, I really liked these shoes. Maybe there’s some nostalgia there.
But as a person of mid-life age, I need more arch support, especially for a work shoe. I also need a wider toes box, since gravity has taken a toll and my feet have become wider and flatter - but I still require that arch! Shoes are also slightly heavy, for me.
For the price, I just need more comfort in a shoe I’m going to wear through work misery.
