Having read some reviews I bought 1/2 size larger than my normal. But I have high arches a wide feet, and had a long struggle to squeeze my foot through the opening of the shoe. Once my foot was in the room for the length and width of my foot was decent, but the shoe was uncomfortably tight across the arch of my foot. These were non-starters.

Look great, could not get my foot halfway into the shoe. Never used or tried a shoe in my size that I could not get on. Returned.
First, I am a big fan of Rockport shoes. These shoes fit perfectly, IF you can get them on. They are like concrete blocks stiff. Once on, they fit just like a good pair of Rockports, but my word, getting them on was a struggle. Getting them off was a similar struggle, it took my wife to pull them off my feet. Not exactly a pair of shoes that you can slip off and on.
