Its Contoured polyurethane base features arch support and heel cup, while the Vy-Gel performance grade elastomer pads provide shock absorption across the forefoot and heel strike, to protect against fasciitis (heel pain). It has a metatarsal rise that helps relieve pain in the ball of the foot, as well as pain from certain medical conditions. SAS in one of a few shoe makers with 1/2 sizes up to 15. I find that 14 1/2 narrow fits perfectly; other brands I would need size 15 and shoes feel too big. To help with the moderate arch support, I purchased a SAS insole insert at that same time, (also available in the 14 1/5 size) and that improves the overall comfort. At over $40, it is expensive; buyer should make sure it is necessary.
Super uncomfortable at work, have no arch support, I definitely don't recommend you get these.
Weird fit. Like bumps in all the wrong places. Feet were terribly sore after work. Worse than the original insole
