The arch support sits back closer to the heel making it very uncomfortable. Never experiened that with Alegria before, and I own 25 different pairs.

I own 18 pairs of Alegria sandals and shoes and this is the first one where it seems the arch support is moved farther back toward the heel so that instead of fitting under the arch, it lifts the front side of the heel. Very odd and very uncomfortable leading to being very disappointed as this was my go to brand.

These shoes are very comfortable and very cute! I am very picky about shoes, both in the fit, the style, and comfort/support. I have had different foot issues over the years and have learned that comfortable, well-fitting shoes are essential! I am very happy with these!

I love the shoe. It is very attractive and had the arch support I needed. But with Alegria mixing two sizes together I can't buy the 7/7/5 because they are too short. I tried the 8/8.5 but they are too big. These might have worked but they slipped on my heels and it would have just gotten worse as the shoe was broken in.
