Finally Alegria has made some comfortable updated shoes that do not look bulky and orthopedic!! I’m in love. I do feel they run a tad small in length. I usually were a 39 and I had to order a 40. The width is plenty wide-I usually wear wide width and they are fine. Not sure how much you can tighten them with the laces so that might be a problem for a narrower foot. The only complaint is that they are sliding off my feet easily. I think it is the material the insole is made of. I also think it will get stinky pretty fast. I may put a very thin leather insole on top of them. I wish they would fit the traditional Alegria insoles. While these are removable (and substantial like the others), they are a slightly different shape. Overall I couldn’t be happier and I’m thinking I may do the red ones as well. I did order the blue thinking it was suede or leather. The blue part is denim-ish fabric and it looked cheap IMO.

I needed an open back shoe for an achilles problem and these are great. They do run wide and a little bit big. I am usually a 6.5 M-W but ended up keeping a 6 M in these. they have great arch support
These are super cute! Plenty room in toe box.
I love this shoe but, I tryed to tighten the shoe strings because they were to wide and my feet were slipped out of the shoe , when I did this the shoe puckered on top, I would highly recommend these for people with wide feet
