Arch support is only appropriate for people with high arches. Not for medium or low arches. Excellent arch support, tread. Shoes are not a slipping risk.

I should have listened to the reviews. They feel comfortable at first but once you start walking around the front strap is way too tight and not adjustable. Bought these for a trip because they looked so supportive. And the sole IS supportive, but the straps is so painful and left not only blisters but knots/bumps under that strap in my toes after wearing them. I was hoping it would stretch out but I don’t think it will. I won’t be able to wear these.

Small, not all leather: Initial impressions - These sandals have a nice cushy footbed, but run much smaller than the Townes sandals. The straps are not leather, which was a surprise.
