Really shiny gold. I could not tell from the picture what the "gold" would look like. It is shiny, metallic, like a formal wear color. The shoe is casual, with the tie in back, and the low heel. The color and style fight each other. The shoe is so cute, I really want to keep it. I love the toe detail, the tie in the back, and the flat heel style, It just needs to be made of a more casual "yarn". Back it goes
