I don’t normally wear slides because either the top hurts my instep, they’re stiff and hurt, the top doesn’t hug my foot so they kick off, or they’re clumsy. These are the most comfortable for what they are. The raffia top is lined with a soft fabric, so they’re not scratchy. The top is supple enough where they give just enough not to cut into my instep but still hold on pretty well. I don’t have a high instep. These might not be good if you do. They do appear to be well made.
