Never worn Born shoes before now...will now never wear any other brand if I can help it! I generally am a 9 and Zappos recommended a 9 1/2, after much doubt I took their advice. The shoes are perfect. They have enuf arch support and comfortable cushioning without feeling over-built. They are lightweight but not "not there". They let my feet know I have shoes on (heel support} my ankle, doesn't slip when I walk. It feels like a real shoe but it's has a sneaker comfort. I can throw on any kid of clothes and they go everywhere. They fit perfectly without being clunky. AND...they're quiet, so if I get up early and put them on I don't wake veryone in the house even though the underide has good support. It's as tho the shoe is giving my foot a warm hug. DON'T HESITATE! Am buying another pair next month....
