Well-made and very study sneaker. I bought one 4 yrs ago and hike in it often and it feels better as it ages. Its not a running sneaker as it doesnt feel as light but offers a secure fit and feels more rugged.
It is too loose around the back of the heel area; the shoe is too stiff and does not flex.
Fit is good but the toe box is too tapered. Pinches on side.
I wore New Balance for years and they were great but these didn't feel the same and were not comfortable at all.
Take a 12 shoe and 13 in sneakers. I am 6' at 165lbs and feet that need a wider toe box, this size 2X does it for width, 1/2 size -1 too long and not enough grip around ankle and walking in these feel 'sloppy' as I prefer a wide 13. Feel cheaply made thin materials.
