These sneakers are very responsive and I feel the absorption on each heel strike. I really like the the use of Vibram joined with the Brooks DNA technology they implement, it is so powerful. I hope they will create more shoes with Vibram because it really is a game changer. I got my normal size and I feel it's a little bit smaller of a toe box than the other medium fits. I'm sure the waterproofing material has something to do with it so maybe I should have gotten a half size up. The other thing I feel is that it pushes my foot into pronation a bit because of how built up the sole is for when landing in natural supination when running. Because of this, it is not as comfortable for regular, prolonged walking or standing but remains a great trail shoe with good grip and accommodation to the terrain.
