A closer fit than the other Lifestride loafers I tried, but still didn't work. The wide fit had too low a toebox, which crushed my big toe. It was also still slightly too loose in the heel (though not as bad as other Lifestride and Clarks loafers). Going down half a size would make it WAY too tight in the toes. Like the other Lifestride moc loafers I tried, it gapped around the arch whenever I stepped down. Might not be a problem for other people's feet. Also, there's no arch support, so it's not good for extended walking.

The width at the toe was great, but the shoe has no structure. It made the sides and heel "bow out", which is never a good look.
