These have minimal arch support--weird is more like it. The arch is short for such a long shoe, which runs a little short (and I ordered a half size up, so maybe a full size small). They were also a little wide for my narrow feet, even tightened down. Nope.
I ordered a size 38 and was sent size 36. It was way too small.
Love the look but they were very stiff around the ankle and rubbed on my ankle bones.

My wife loved the shoes. They were comfortable and helped her plantar fasciitis. 4 months later they fell apart. The Velcro on the strap quit working and the sole wore really quickly on the heel. Terrible for an expensive shoe.
I found these shoes run about a half size small. I’m usually a size 9 but the 8.5 (39) fit perfect. These shoes are super comfortable.
Having Aetrex sandals I was familiar with - and liked - this brand. I needed some shoes for business travel and it it still a bit too cool for sandals so I was looking for some closed toe shoes. The second I put these on, I was happy they were just as comfortable as my sandals. I walked all over the city in these and my feet felt great (can't say the same for my companions in their heels). I definitely recommend these shoes. Thought not the cutest shoes, they are extremely comfortable, perfect for transitional weather and are nice to my feet!
Going up 1/2 a size was the best decision for me. They feel wonderful & even though they are Medium width, they feel as though they could be Wide toe box width. There is ample space in there, which is the biggest issue I have with all shoes. Now if only they had Metatarsal support like Aetrex inserts, i’d Be in heaven. Though seriously, a couple additional color splashes couldn’t hurt. Thank you Zappos for being so patient with me & my feet & the many, many returns it takes to get a pair that fits.
I ordered the 38, which I think is more on the 7.5 side than the 8 as it rubbed the back of my foot. I had to send them back, but ordered the 39 with hopes they will fit better.
