Fiord

I love the look of this clog. I've had a number of compliments already after having them for 2 days. Leather was a tad stiff at first, but got significantly more supple after wearing them for a couple of days. Good at repelling water on the outside and soft leather inside. Perfect if you have to run to the store in any but the most extreme weather. The fit was perfect on my foot...comfortable.Too early to tell, but feel and look very well made. If they withstand the test of time, I will definitely buy again. In love with this pair of Naots.

I've worn these shoes for several years and have found the sizing to fluctuate - I currently have two 44s and one 43 that I've purchased in the last five years or so, and they all fit the same. I mainly wear them around the house and to take the dog out as they are as comfortable as slippers but also have a bit of support. I just purchased 44s in all three colors and they no longer fit/feel the same. All of them were snug and uncomfortable. In the past, no breaking in period was needed for these shoes, but I considered keeping one new pair to see if they would break in and feel more comfortable. Unfortunately, in addition to the sizing/comfort issue, Naot has also changed the soles of the shoes and they no longer have the same tread, so I ended up returning them. Note that the photos of the soles currently show the old bottoms, not the new ones I received.

Not true to US size conversion

I am very disappointed in Naot's decision to change the style and composition of the soles on the Fiord. I have a pair of the Fiords that is 12 years old and they are more comfortable than these newer ones. Not only did they change the tread design but the support is not as good. The soles seams a little less rigid. The sole is just as important as the insert. They had a large bar on the old sole that ran along the arch support. It is smaller now along with the tread design. The sole just feels flimsier. Sorry Naot but I don't understand when you make a good product you feel the need to change it??

Great house shoe. Cork insole doesn't last forever.

I sent size 37 back, because it was too small. The 38 is too big and wide for my foot. Do you have any size narrower? This is a lot of money too spend on a shoe that doesn’t fit.

Since my review of a week ago didn't seem to get posted I will try again. I have always liked the Nato Fiord but this pair I purchase in January of 2024 really disappointed me. Naot went to a thinner and harder sole and the instep is longer and presses up against my ankle. Can't understand why they would change the design when there was nothing wrong with what they had. I have worn these around the house for the last few months and there is definitely a big difference in comfort. not good!! I wasted to much time to be able to return them, that's on me. So I am stuck with a $180 dollar pair of uncomfortable Naot Fiords!

I was not pleased with the new sole design. It is not as thick and is harder than the older design of the Naot Fiord. Also the instep looks and feels like they made it wider. It looks like Naot has done the same thing with the Michael sandals also. So I am really disappointed in this new pair of Fiords. May have to look for a different brand of clog style shoes and sandals for my next shoe purchase.

These are THE BEST, 5-star. I was accustomed to the Birkenstock clogs. Its hard cork footbed had indentations and ridges that hurt my feet; plus it was difficult to keep them on as they kept slipping off. My new Naots are a 100% improvement. The footbed is buttery smooth, no more foot pain, and they don’t come off. The leather is premium as is the style - very elegant. I wear a size wide for comfort, but this fits like a glove. No break-in period is necessary. My best shoe purchase as I wear them most of the time.

I bought the Crazy Horse leather clog in size 45 (12) & fit perfect while suede cushioned insole is buttery soft. Within a few days of normal wear the insoles we’re already by far the most comfortable shoe I’d ever worn. 10 years later is still that shoe that’s never been matched for sheer comfort. I’ve got a slightly wider & flatter foot than the avg. with no tight spots. If I had one shoe to wear rest of time it’s these guys#1. They also sell replacement suede insoles.(55$)
